Greetings,

My name is Xavier. I'm currently incarcerated and have been for the last 23 years. However, my incarceration doesn't define who I am as a man because I'm also loving, driven, faithful, ambitious, and God-fearing. My reason for joining this site is because I'm just like you—I'm looking for new and interesting people to correspond with and get to know.

As you can imagine, being incarcerated is one of the loneliest feelings in the world, but what I'm hoping to find along this journey is a mature woman who is down to earth, has a positive attitude, and is willing to share conversations, laughs, thoughts, and ideas. I know it can be a little scary opening your thoughts to the possibilities of communicating with someone in prison, but I can assure you that if you allow me this opportunity to get to know you, I'll change your opinion about men in prison, put a smile on your face, and leave you wishing that we met sooner.

I say that with confidence because I know what I have to offer, and I just want to share it with someone who is deserving of it. I've spent these years repenting, working on myself, and maturing as a man. I have to admit though, it does get lonely doing this alone, and that's why I wanted to use this site to reach out for new friends.

However, with that being said, I'm not ignorant to the fact that I put myself in this position and allowed this system to trap my body, but one thing I'll never allow it to do is trap my heart or my mind. Me putting myself out there like this is me taking a step towards hopefully a great friendship with someone. Is that someone you? The only way to find out is for you to take a step as well, and that can only begin with an introduction.
