Dear Reader,

Have you ever had a moment in your life wishing for a true friend; someone you could talk with openly about anything without worry of judgment or rejection? If so, then hopefully you will take the time to write me because that’s what I’m looking for; real friendship.

I was 19 when incarcerated and after two decades, it would be really nice to find true friendship – to know someone cares enough to write and is willing to get to know me. You’ll learn this time has not made me bitter and, in fact, I’m a fun loving, positive guy to know.

I can imagine the awkwardness you may feel in trying to write that first letter, not being sure what to say. That’s okay! Just be yourself, I’m easygoing, open-minded, nonjudgmental and am willing to share my life story with you. My only desire is to find true friendship. I’m not looking for any romantic entanglements.

So tell me about yourself; where you’re from; your likes and dislikes; what makes you happy; any hobbies or interests you have; favorite color, food, books, movies etc. Anything you wish to share, I’d love to hear. And feel free to ask me anything you wish to know.
