My name is Kayn, and I'm currently an inmate at a correctional institution in Michigan. At 25 years old, I have a long road ahead of me, but I'm committed to using this time for personal growth and spiritual development.

Family values are extremely important to me, and the love of my parents and siblings is what keeps me grounded. My faith is a major source of strength—I spend time in prayer, meditation, and studying spiritual texts. Physical fitness is also a huge part of my life. Before being locked up, I played basketball competitively and still try to exercise as much as possible. I'm a moderate basketball fan and enjoy discussing the game.

Despite my circumstances, I refuse to let myself become negative or bitter. I'm focused on self-betterment through reading, writing, taking available classes, and constantly challenging myself to grow as a person. I'm hoping to find an open-minded pen pal who can provide an outside perspective and a reminder of the goodness in the world.

More than just a letter writer, I'm looking for a genuine connection—someone I can have real conversations with about life, share interests, and mutually uplift one another. I've made mistakes that led me here, but I have remorse and aim to rebuild my life with integrity and purpose upon release.
