That just seems sick to me--the idea of watching the enforced misery of others for entertainment.
I know in the 19th century, there were tours of both prisons and mental hospitals. Surely we as a society have grown since then??????

Thanks for posting this. Actually I see the adventure as a learning tool for those interested in the Law enforcement/DOC field or even pyschology. And I might even look into doing this myself as I have a pp in Florence (the Fed Supermax) and I want to go whitewater rafting. So thanks again for posting the link.

It just might do some good too.
It would get rid of the idea that all prisoners are living this wonderful "life of luxury" behind bars.
I read thru some of the feedback from people who`d taken the tour, and it had given them a totally different perspective on Life In prison.
I don`t think showing people the real truths about being in prison is such a bad idea.
