Off Topic: Does any one play an instrument?

I play b flat clarinet, bass clarinet, and baritone saxaphone and 2 of my sons play trumpet:)

when I was at school, and my mother still had the edge over me, and was able to force me to do all those things i really hated doing... i used to play the violin and the clarinet (and the recorder. but the recorder was the only thing i enjoyed, really...)

Once upon a time I played the clarinet but quit when it got too difficult or I lost interest. Should have played the flute or sax since I like those much better.

Any harp players out there? I would LOVE to play a harp.

Music appreciation has never been my forte. But, it has often been something that I missed. When I was a kid, I lived out in the bush and the only instruments we had were the washtub, the washboard and a saw.

I took drum lessons for a couple years when I was 13 but my mom wouldn't let me have any at home. I wonder why??? I never got very good but I still love them.

Strangely enough I was never allowed a drum kit at home either! :(

I'm federally prohibited from playing any instrument or sing, within 500 miles of any living thing :( tone deaf is my middle name, unfortunately, cuz I love music...

Haha, so many funny responses:) I want to get a drum set at my house but with 7 kids i think i would smash it before the first day was up. I want my 9 year old to take up drums.

I play guitar, (have done for 38 years) mostly rock music, also keyboards. It's amazing just how much talent there is around here lol!

Hey, I would love to play the harp too!! Love the sax, but my only love that I CAN play is the violin. It's like a another arm to me. What joy!!!!

I play the Alto Sax and the Eb Tuba, and I did start to play the piano but never got very far.
