Do any of you know the rules re. the (im)possibilities after release? My friend will be released from a federal prison in North Carolina in the next 18 months, but staff are less than helpful, basically telling him nothing is possible. He will get about 6 months Halfway House, but doesn't know where he can go. He only knows it's probably in the area of his old home town, where he does NOT want to return. What are the rules? Anyone has had a friend who was released from a federal prison?
