So I started to write to a guy in DR in AZ Florence central...does snyone know if I can send or order stuff for him..I sent a few $$ via jpay..but a secure pak..or something like it would be good...I m not American btw..would that matter?
You have to be on their visitation list to send Securpaks and to be honest, the choice isn’t any better than if you were to send them money via JPay and they purchase from Stores themselves.
Also, when I sent a Securepak to A, I had to have his mom log on and use her card (I transferred her the money) because you have to have a US bank card that can be verified against a US postal address.
You could possibly send him books via somewhere like B&N (not hardback and not through Amazon) or maybe cassette tapes (which are extremely hard to come by) but I can’t think of any other possible options for you.
I should also point out that whilst I do have a lot of experience with the SMU which is Level 5, I DON’T have DR experience. However I don’t believe they vary much

CDs aren’t allowed in Max. So I doubt DR inmates are permitted to have a CD player either.

Not really, No!
Arizona are extremely harsh compared to a lot of other States!

It seems nightmarish...I've only been writing with B a short time, but it's starting to affect me....no one in the system seems to care ..it seems to be all about making conditions as awful as possible...

Yeah, I have experience with Ohio as well and Arizona is all about punishment. It’s so harsh in comparison to Ohio and they are barely allowed anything.

I find January is always slow. When he was at Eyman, it was the same. The mail room will have a backlog of mail and property is full of more gifts than usual due to Christmas. Occasionally things get through super fast but they’re few and far between!

Yeah, I’m on Facebook. If I add to the group you posted about, you can add me from there?
A was at Florence’s Central Unit for his first few years. So I’m sure I can probably answer any questions you have about the place (if you do have any). But yeah, feel free to message me directly.
