If there’s one thing you would say to your younger self, what would it be??

Before plunging into my question, Hi! I’m Marga, currently a psychology student. I hope you find this letter comforting and conversational.  I am not here to judge you, I am here to listen to you, to hear your own words, any stories you are comfortable to share. But since you would see these maybe a week later. I would like to give you a vivid story of mine. There was a case before where someone asked me to help them with their thesis. Not to brag but I think I was good at it and so I helped this batchmate of mine although I was working with mine too. During the graduation, she became the valedictorian of the batch and awarded as one of the best theses. I stood and applauded her and she was smiling at me from that stand microphone on stage. Maybe you would ask me, how did you feel about it? Well, I love to help others perform at their best. Even though my own works were not even recognized, I was able to reach my hands to them, that particular help would perhaps engrave in someone's heart. And that would be my legacy to each of the people I helped with. What I am trying to say is that the world is a messy place to live in but the word “leave the world better than you found it” is such an empowering word to strive for good, no matter how awful it is. I may be standing in the shadow of other people but I was glad that as I try to leave this world, I have not wasted time and try my best to do even in my smallest means. And I also hope that you find the courage to continue living in this world better than you found it. It may be awful now but I hope as you have the chance to show it in your own means, you never refuse to. The world is waiting for you to come back, especially those that love you.
