I'm posting this because I want people to pay attention. I'm not going to go all whacky about this like they do over on another forum (that shall remain nameless), but it is my new-found mission to inform. So here it goes:
October 5 : Marcus Johnson (Georgia)
October 18 : Joseph Murphy (Ohio)*
October 20 : Christopher Johnson (Alabama)
October 27 : Frank Garcia (Texas)
November 9 : Hank Skinner (Texas)
November 15 : Reginald Brooks (Ohio)
November 16 : Guadalupe Esparza (Texas)
There are no others scheduled until January 2012.
Two executions were scheduled for Tennessee but have both been stayed (John Henretta and H.R. Hester).
*The Ohio Parole Board has unanimously (8-0 vote) recommended clemency for Joseph Murray. The governor hasn't made a decision as of yet.
As for the rest of this month...
On the 28th, Florida is scheduled to execute Manuel Valle, a foreign national, who has been sitting on death row for 30 years.
There is another execution scheduled in Pennsylvania on the 29th - Robert Flor - but a stay is very well likely.

Hey Moxie..thanks for sharing & i am fairly certain i know the 'other' site you mentioned...totally agree with you! Bananashake don't go there no mor!
Yeah... That place where they make martyrs out of these guys and think they're all innocent? Yup. They scare me.
you forgot Joel Schmeiderer 13th September, David Jordan 27th September both in Tennessee. both have been stayed tho.
Edward Harbison had a date back in February which was stayed, then Gov Bredesen commuted his sentence to life without parole. at the moment TN are going over the procedures about the new lethal injection. I have faith we wont be seeing too many executions in TN.. If at all..
Joseph Murray's sentence has been commuted to LWOP.
Victim’s Relatives Say Death Row Inmate Does Not Deserve To Die

Seven (now six) people being killed by the government. Such bull***t.
Manuel Valle executed for killing police officer » Naples Daily News
He was another cop killer.
Earlier in the morning, he visited for three hours with relatives – first for two hours without any physical contact with them, and then for an hour with contact with three people: a niece, a sister and his daughter, Rebecca, who was 2 years old when Valle was arrested.
I wish they allowed this in TX
Yeah another senseless killing... At least they gave him that hour, though it should have been longer and it should be that way for all.
Robert Flor is another 'cop killer' in Pennsylvania. His execution was scheduled for tomorrow night, but I just read where it was stayed back in August.
Maybe their killing off all the cop killers, then their end the DP??
forgot to post this yesterday.
Attorney: Execution delayed for Georgia inmate convicted of 1994 murder of Albany woman - The Washington Post
Thanks for keeping us posted. :)
Being British, the very concept of Capital punishment sickens me to the core..it makes us no better than the murderer..Sactioned murder by the state is wholly unnacceptable..Locking somone up is one thing but murdering them is quite another..
I don't think it has anything to do with being British. I'm a Brit but I'm not anti-DP. I don't like the DP and I'd rather it wasn't around in the form it is currently administered, but I do see it as being something that for a very small number of individuals is a sensible way to proceed.
We often say that we treat our pets better than our criminals. We do still put animals to sleep if they cannot be trusted not to bite.
