Corrlinks

Good morning, everyone,

I'm sorry, I'm taking advantage of this position to ask my question:
I would have liked to know if the Corrlinks service was paying for the inmates... did they have to pay to send messages via this platform?

Thank you for those who will answer.

Hi @Neyla, yes, CorrLinks charges the inmate by the minute to log into a kiosk at the facility (maybe $0.05/minute? I'm not sure). Once logged-in, they can read and compose messages. So, not only do the inmates have to pay to send messages, they also have to pay to read them, and pay again if they want to print hard copies. Something else to be aware of - if the inmate is low on funds, they may not be able to log in and send/receive messages. I'm told that incoming messages (to the inmate) expire after seven days whether they've been read or not.
