I have a friend who was locked up in 1994 in Coleman, he was released October 7,2009. Does anyone know if he is going to a halfway house since he was locked up for so long? And if he does will he get a letter that was sent to him after his release?

LOL If he was in Coleman? Maybe? My old man was released that same day but he came outta Canaan and went into a halfway house in Florida, Dania Beach and that is near Ft. Lauderdale and the name of that is called Dismas Charities. Hope that helps?
I don't think the letters would be forwarded hon...also from what I understand? They will be released to where ever their family is or?? From where their crimes took place! Btw? Oops1 My old man was released on the 6th and they sent him back to where he originally came from and did his illegal activities and his family is mostly deceased. The BOP and probation make no sense sometimes.
