Hi guys...

as Ive said in recent posts Im off outta the country for a little and Im really worrying that I'm going to get withdrawals from my mail - also I'm swtching flats so have had to mail all my PPs and tell them not to post me until I move into my new bacholrette pad next month and I can give them a definite address :-(
I was talking to sb last night who told me moving house, holidays and starting new jobs are int he top 5 most stressful things to do ever - and Im doing them all in one month!
This all means means no mail for at least six weeks! Crikey!

Can barely think about it! Do they do patches for this kind of withdrawal?!

LOL...All I can say is everytime you go thru a withdrawel suck on the inside of your arm...hope it helps!!! LOL Honesty you just have to suck it in and pray for the day it settles down so you can get your letters!

It sucks! Im going through the same thing as I just moved clear across US from Cali to NH and only did the forwarding on August 8th so god knows how long it will take to catch up. It is just annoying and frustrating. Plus I worry about losing stuff. I told my pals just dont friggin send anything important like photos or drawings as I dont want to risk losing it. Im also afraid they will just give up but hopefully not.

Yeah asha I TOTALLY understand - I just hope my PPs realise that it is a valid reason and not that Im trying to shake them off, huh?

Forwarding though - I wish I could do that here but as the postal service is a little unstable and the English in my area ain't great I don't think I'd feel safe doing it! Hope your move went well though - any tips for me asha?! I'm moving twice in a month!

Hey Totes

I just moved house, ended a relationship and started a new job all in 2 weeks - not really that difficult, unless you 'allow' it to be. Not majorly 'easy' either, but I know YOu, and I know you will be fine!!!

When do you move?

Its hard Tots. At least here in US our forwarding system works quite efficiently but lags is the only problem. You just have to wait and no alternative. Im sure you will be fine, just contact the post office from your origional address if its becoming a ridiculous wait like over a month. I would even try after three weeks. Stay on top of it and eventually it will start coming to the new address. Once you are in touch with your guys, you can see if anything was lost but I doubt it.

Thanks asha - I'm sure that as I'm only away for a short while it won't be too much of a big deal - by the time I send them a forwarding address and the mail gets out, I should be moved in anyway right?! Esp with the summer mailing being slow! I've also now learned that wrapping china and glass in JUST NEWSPAPER doesn't work! #Crash!# Oops!

heheh toto, yeah moving sucks and you have two moves. I just started getting inmate mail today and was a move over 3000 miles. I started the forward on the 8th of August so that is REALLY fast, They are good as long as you clearly indicate your new address. I was also advised by the post office to do it the old fasioned way and fill out the change of address card and dont use the internet. The reason is it takes them a few more days to even receive it online but a physical card, they get it right away.
