it took me almost 2 weeks to be approved but keep your head up im sure it wont be to much longer ツ

I keep hearing about "being approved" on the forum. I am in Texas and have been on the visitor list of two inmates. I don't recall being approved or filling out a form. Yet, when I arrived at the prison, I was given a 4 hour contact visit and have been visiting two hours a couple times per month. All I do is show my drivers license and checked for metal at the entrance. Does Texas send out an approval form?

My fiance is in Texas and all i had to give him to get my niece approved to visit with me was her Name, Occupation,Telephone number and date of birth but neither her nor i filled out any forms and she has been approved took about 4 weeks and that was he forgot to ask me for her occupation the first time
