Well, I am hooked.
I haven't had a pen pal for quite a while and now I'm probably more excited than the inmates themselves. It's a good thing that this website has limits on initial emails as I simply don't know how to restrain myself. It is quite easy to be tempted to write to more people. And now - it is easy, but I know that if I write to any more, I will not be able to give them enough of me later.
I don't really know how to deal with my own impatience. :)

I know the feeling...but if I were you..I'd write a letter anyway and send it off snail mail...I didn't...and it took ages for B to receive the initial e mail from here...so naturally..I thought he'd got it but didn' t wanna write overseas..then he did eventually get it..but his replies took til jan 5th to get to me cos of Xmas...so now HE probably thinks I didn't wanna keep writing..sigh...so jyst keep writing and mailing ...what state is your PP in?
I have written to 4 (in the last 5 days). So they still haven't received it yet. The initial emails here will be forwarded on 23rd. And I find it hard to even resist writing a second letter via snail mail. I know I should wait for their reaction first before flooding them with mail. :)
That's what I thought..with B..but it turned out to be a mistake...I send the initial e mail in early november..then a birthday card & xmas card in mid nov..I received nothing..so I didn't write further..then his replies from dec took til 5th jan to reach me..so he must have thought I wasn t going to reply.....
I've got in the habit now of writing every wednesday....until he tells me to quit..lol...
