just came home to let yall know his eye ball itself is maybe saved, the doctor said last night it was touch and go since there was so much trama and lacerations done to the inside and outter part of the eye ball .....but it seems to be holding water meanin keeping itself moist.... as far as the sight we still dont know because of the swelling in his eye ball.. the doctor said it may be blocking light out are the lens in it may of been ripped out we just dont know for sure till some more tests come back ill be back on late tonight and keep yall informed on whats happening.... i do want to thank yall that have him in your prayers and thoughts and the ones to emailed me also i do appreciate this very much

Wolf, have they mentioned possilby using an artificial lens? I used to work for an Eye Surgeon. The new ones are really good.

Wolfdreamer, my sense tell me that he is going to be alright after a period of recovery. Visualize the eye as being normal. Our prayers will sustain him until he heals completely.

im on my way back to the hospital and stopped in to read the posts .. gilly you have mail.... i will keep yall informed of whats going on tonight are this afternoon .. i have to take breaks in the hospital cause they wont allow my 4 year old son in there to long so long..

he came home today the doc said he wants to see him tommarro afternoon in his office we will see then if he loses the eye its self the doctor said from him beign a diabetic and the trama to the eyeball its doubtful rather he will keep it

He had a doctors appointment today
well the doctor said at first it wasnt looking like he would keep his sight but thanks to everyone who had him in prayers and thoughts we got a little good news he ran some tests first looking inside his eye "globe" as they called it they seen what may be his eye lens they still arent sure due to the fact he has a large "clot" of blood behind his pupil he has to go this week coming back in surgery and they will remove it and the doctor will do "exploratory surgery" to see if the nerves and the lens retina, cornia, all the good things inside your eye ball is there he said if the lens is ruptured he will replace it then but he isnt sure untill he gets inside the eye itself an clears all the blood up well the good news is when the doc shined a light in his eye my ole man saw it (smiles n screams) but like the doctor said we arent out of the woods yet so my fingers n toes are still crossed and we are both holding on to faith and letting the higher powers work on his eye and eye sight
