Everything seems to have gone quiet recently -does anyone know if he can be charged with wasting police time?

I know that they are planning on that here - they have never charged anyone here in SA with 'wasting police time' but they is talk of it these days, with the serial killer in Pretoria (although tv reporters say that the police are not calling him a 'serial killer' yet, because even though the bodies are being found in the same area, and the MO is always the same, they don't know if it is the same guy...) - hordes of people are phoning in saying that they know who it is, and police are being forced to investigate every call and 'tip' - and they know that some of them are just people messing with the police...

Last I heard, John Mark Carr was definitely eliminated as a suspect in her murder due to the DNA not matching but I thought he was supossed to be sent back to California to face child pornography charges from photos found on his hard drive...I lost track of it after that.

When this whole idiocy came to light I said that this a**hole was nothing more than a sick scammer!! He was faced with a nasty stretch in a Thai prison....one of the nastiest prison stretches one can do...and he simply played the DA and FBI in Colorado like a Stradivarius!

At the end of the day he got a free business class ride home with all the publicity he can handle.

What really concerns me is that these same "law enforcement" bozo's are actually investigating crimes and putting Americans in jail!!! Now that is scary!!

Just my thoughts.
