Just to add...if i keep writing its like i'm pressuring him,on the other hand if i dont write and he has written me and for some reason i haven't received his mail he might think theres something wrong at my end.

i have had pals take month(s) long vacations from writing, if its a regular pal then just keep writing if that feels comfy for you, there are any number of very good understandable reasons why there may be a delay or break, 10 days is not really long enough to gauge if this is anything more than a hiccup in usual routine,

one of my pp put this on his replied letter, 'where i am it take an extra 4-5 days to get the mails but please...don't give up on me'
i found that so sweet of him saying that on his 1st letter. i'm fairly new to this by the way and only have few pp so far, so please dont think that i'm being rude in my reply

Ok it's friday and still no mail :( i sent him a sweet poem that read 'if kisses were showers i'd send you the ocean' i'm thinking would that have scared him off.

Yup there's a million reasons you might not get a letter for a minute. One of my pp's wrote after about 2 months and was like what's up haven't heard from you in a while... and the thing is somehow my last letter I'd written never made it to him so we both thought the other had quit writing! lol...

But it could be no money for stamps or envelopes, to being in the hole, to just being really busy and unable to write for a minute.
