After a much anxious, worrying and long 4 weeks I finally received mail from my husband Chris, woohooo happy happy joy joy a wait I don’t want to have to do again if I don’t have to since he usually calls and sends mail everyday with out fail.. But unfortunately the happiness was short lived. He was transferred to a new facility four weeks ago (hence the long wait) and 6 hrs after arrival was beat up, broken jaw, nose, fractured eye sockets just to name a few and now placed in SHU for his protection to which he describes as the bottom of hell and not sure how long he will stay in there.. .He hasn’t been given his meds in those four weeks to which im really anxious about as he is bi polar and suffers from PTSD and flashbacks from his time in the military. Unfortunately I know there is not a great deal I can do but send him words of encouragement, hope and love and stay strong . I know I don’t know many of you personally but hoping that you could help me out with some words of encouragement to help lift him a little out of his state of depression..

Thanks Scarlet xxx

scarlet, at least yu have communication with him again which is good. You can send him a lot of emotional support. i dont know how prisons deal with meds unfortunately, I even wonder if diabetic inmates get their insulin and such (shudder) but keep writing him..not even in resonse to his but just your thoughts and such. Hey Scarlets Hubby,,,Excercise is the best depression fighter,,,do your burpees,,drink plenty of H2O and use this time to get close with the God that lies within you. You are stronger than you think if you just take one small step. Get a reading list together,,,,stay on top of the law library whether you feel a need or not. Get wifey to get a few magazine subscriptions,,,,Mens Health is awesome! Memorize some poems and recite them,,,ones that talk about strength and perserverance. You have a beautiful person who is waiting for you and by your side,,,Not many people in prison have that,,Feel Blessed that a good wife is fighting and thinking about you all the time,,when many many men have no one!!!
Keep your head up,,,you came this far,,you can make it if you only try!!!! Dont ever give up or give out!
