Hi all, Well, I finally decided last night that it was time I started to organise all my letters. Previously they have been living in my desk drawer at work but I'm finding it harder every month to keep track. So I came into work early this morning and have started off a couple of files with letters in date order, plus articles/printouts that I want to send to my PP's in the future. I've also printed off some of the info on here - Mo, thanks for reposting the slang (46 pages of print in landscape!) which I think will help my letters become more intersting.

Ahhh, I feel so much more organised now!

Organization is a great feeling, isn't it?

I'm not quite there yet, but it's soooo much better than it was!

For me all the letters are organised in shoe boxes, ...

I did shoe boxes for awhile until they got too full then I put them in chronological order in 3-ring binders. Works really well for me.

It's amazing how quickly they fill up - I have one full already! Does anyone else save clippings/items of interest they think their pp's will like? I printed some pics from the internet last week (made sure I removed the website address) of one of my PP's home town. He had asked if I could find any, cus he was missing the outside world. I wouldn't have been sure weather to or not, had he not asked, as I had a feeling that by seeing pictures it would make him more upset.

Howcome you shred them? is it by choice?..

I'd be quite upset I think if anything happened to any of my letters.

After someone I know had a very bad house fire I bought a small fire proof safe for £50 (75$) my letters go in there alongside photo albums, insurance documents, passport etc...

I have a fire safe! Wonder if they really work though???
Its pretty full already, so will likely have to get another one to store more stuff! hehehe Keep photo negatives, many cards/letters and stuff like that in there. I have way toooo many letters/cards to fit in there so just put some in there for now.

Im going to have to get something bigger than what I use now for all my letters...LOL I tied them in bundles of months in order, then had to start a new box for 2006.
