Thank you all...we Canadians appreciate it.
As would be expected we celebrate Canada Day in a more reserved way than our American cousins celkebrate the 4th of July...LOL!! Not so much fireworks and stuff.
My wife and I had a "open house party" for about 30 people. We do this each year and try to theme the food we offer to a different country each year in recognition of all the different race and nationalities of folks that make Canada home. This year we stuck pretty much to Asian fare... sushi...Chinese fried dumplings...that kind of thing. Backed up with the standards...and ended the evening with my new chocolate fondue fountain and fresh fruit. Balloons...good food...good music...good people...and a lot of fun!

Sounds wonderful, Tom!
I heard enough fireworks last night to last me for the month. Just a few nights to go!
