Photos?

As far as I know, I haven't had bad experiences with sending pictures ;)
I would never send a picture of me with the first letter, but after a while when I know that they want to have a correspondance I think it's fair to send them a picture because I know what they look like and so they should have an idea of myself as well. :)

If you met them in the street, they would know what you look like. Just send a head and shoulders shot.

Welcome to WAP, and sending a basic head shot isn't a big deal. Just use common sense and don't send anything racy or crazy and you should be all good.

Of my 4 pen pals, I had 2 ask for pictures. I ended up sending them to three of them. The fourth is due to be released in 8 months or so and is just looking to pass time with conversation and plans to cease communication when she gets released, so she hasn't asked for a pic and I didn't send one.

Yeah ive send pics but as the others said only once they was interested in me as a person.... and its nice to put a pic to a letter...i would say yes send one or two, my pp likes all sorts of pics i take and my guy just likes ones of me...which i do hate my own pic but hey

Hey all-
First time posting but I've been reading for awhile... Anyway, I have a question about sending photos. About two months ago, I started writing pen pals. I have lots- maybe 11 or 12 or more. I told myself when I first started writing that I would never send a picture of myself. Now, some have asked, and I find myself reconsidering. These people just seem so nice and normal, and I understand why they'd want to put a face to a letter! Have any of you had a bad experience from sending a photo? Should I send or no? Anything to be aware of? Any feedback appreciated- thanks all!!

yeh i would send one. not had any bad experiences at all....what harm can it do? yeh go for it.
