I havent seen the documentary but I would be surprised if it didn't. There is a YouTube video of a Toronto police office tazing a man in his gentiles and this is in a safe and civilized country like Canada I can only imagine what happens in third world countries. If you want to get mad or sad there are lots of prison and police brutally videos on YouTube.

I didn't watch the video, i saw the pic and i know were it is from, all i can say is i have come to understand what you believe is impossible is possible in any given set of circumstances, especially by those people you believe are their to serve and protect.

To think a man who has entered prison as your interpreter to help you, (17 year old young man) can then turn around and rape you. To have your picture taken when you are sexually penetrated, tortured and humiliated by the same sex.

So much goes on behind close doors, somethings reach the light others are kept in the dark buried deep within one's soul.

Only this week a man (A Brazillian here on a student visa) was tazed to death on the darkened streets of Sydney. He was pretty drunk, but he had committed no crime. Given the opportunity, the weapons and the privacy, humans can easily sink to depravity.

Take several deep breaths, compose your thoughts, and tell us what the problem is. It may be better to do that in a personal message to one of the members who has been here for a good while.

Part of the problem is that the prison staff becomes a "Good Old Boys" club, which is almost like a gang in itself. They have turf rules also, just like the inmates. And one of those rules is that you don't "rat" on a fellow CO. Thus a lot of things are kept quiet and swept under the rug, so there is no accountability nor punishment for unsavory actions.

An old American politician once wrote. "Those who grow above all fear soon grow above all shame."

It shows in our politics . . . it shows in our prison system.
