well i got halloween cards at the dollar store today for my pp's, and the birthday card is all set for my fav pp;....so all ready to roll stamped and addressed as well :)
anybody send thankgiving cards to? do people really send cards then?
I dont need them thinking i am a nut, sendnig cards for thanksgiving if people dont really send cards then??

I send my fav PP "thinking of you" cards in between my letters. So I'm definitely all for sending cards for any holiday.

Yes I did see some today at walmart, and i figure the dollra store will ahve some when the time comes as well, guess its not hard to find any..lol
i do wonder if those cards that sing go thru, can you send a pp a card that sings?? will they go thru or do they tear apart the motor thing???
as far as i am aware musical cards will be destroyed to check for contraband but maybe a more informed member on the forum could guide you right: sorry i cant be of more help.
I wanted to get one of those cards where you actually can record your own voice and message, but I was fairly certain that none of my pals would be able to receive one so I never bought it.

i got my halloween cards but when i looked at the thanksgiving ones i am going to have to look around because they were all were talking about home and family
I have always sent my pp a special Thanksgiving card along a special Christmas card and needless to say a birthday card. I would send my pp an Easter card, but he isn't into Easter that much as he is the other 2 holidays. I also send Thanksgiving and Christmas cards to his 2 "adoptive sons" who he has taken under his wing as these 2 young men's families don't send them cards at all. I know a few of you send out Halloween cards, but I don't send out Halloween at all.
I actually do all the holidays, if they celebrate them. I make my own cards, most of the time, just because it's what I do on the side, and since I am already designing cards, I might as well do my own.
I even send random note cards througout the year just to make them all feel a bit special. :)
well i got the halloween ones here and i am taking them to the PO i am wondering if due to size they are more then a stamp, i ddnt think of that. so ia m goona check on that one, but think i will wait til next week to mail them, or maybe mail them anwyays since i am there.
I hit the PO, on my way out there, had to get stamps and not one of them cards cost more for postage well tha is nice to know :)
