Virtual PO Box?

I'm from the UK and looking to find a penpal and have decided to use a PO Box, is it ok to use a virtual PO box system in America as my address?

Take a look at Jmail (www.jmail.cc) - its a virtual po box specifically for writing to inmates .I have been using them many years and no issues.

I'm in the UK and use Jmail, really useful, for many reasons, and Customer Services are very helpful.
