Well..I have read all the Visitation threads..where there's debates about whether you should tell a little "white lie" about whether you knew your PP before he went to prison... all the pro's and all the cons....
And I am pleased to say....YAY!!!! I dont have to stress over that little detail now as my guy gets released in Jan 2015 and I have been invited to go and see him then..instead..so no 8hr visits...been told what to wear...the fact you can smooch....and all that ;)
Instead we agreed it would be way better plus I can get 2 weeks off then as well...and he wants to take me to the beach and the best waffle place over there...as im kinda addicted to waffles...and meet his family...and be able to as he says..." go catch a movie"...or take me dancing....yeah me and my 2 left feet..hehe..
He has decided i WONT be driving even though I can...but apparently us "UK people" drive on the "wrong" side of the road...
So all I can say is HURRY UP 33 months......:)

YAYYYY Thats great.
Well good luck 3 yrs is a long time
Not wishing to rain on your parade but is that an Actual Release or his Parole Release, he could get a set off and it could be longer than 3 years
As in actual release date...thats the date he walks outta there.... through the gates....doors woteva...lol...obviously i wont be there...as he got to get settled first..then i'm gonna go over... :) 3 years..nah not THAT long...hehe...besides it gives me time to save and get all the stuff i need to do over here....
am upset about the whole driving though..apparently the car is on the wrong side too...as in you all drive on the left side of the car..where us over here sit in the right side of the car...def no driving for me then...:)
errrrr, yes, here we drive on the RIGHT side of the road, ha ha ha!!!!
There is no way I could drive in a country that had the opposite of what I am used to driving. People would die, it wouldn't be good, it can't happen. My brain would not make the switch easily at all. I know some people can do that but I sure couldn't.
But then again, that's really the least of your problems. There are ways to get around and be where you need to be without a car here, especially if he's in a city.
PLEASE DO NOT post you escort services on my post...
+ Amen
as to the car driving...we also sit in the RIGHT hand side of our car...not the left..even MORE confusing..while we drive on the LEFT hand side of the road hehehe... can you imagine me loose on the roads.....
I would probably land up in a ditch...however I have made it clear I want to find a wal-mart after all the crazy pics I see of people that shop there..I wanna check this out for myself....and also find somewhere that does the best Krispy Kreme doughnuts as they have them over here and they are...D.I.V.I.N.E...!!...mmmmmm...yum...."drool"...hehe..
Oh and it will be nice to see my guy too....but secretly I'm going for the doughnuts and waffles...SHhhhhh we wont tell him though ;)
I can barely drive my way let alone anyone else's way, lol! Impossible.
That sounds great. Hope it works out for you :)
It's just the same as driving on continental Europe (driver on the left, car on the right-hand side of the road). Have you not driven in Europe apart from the UK?
I couldn't drive in Europe or the US, I have enough trouble with driving tests in this country. Although, I, sure my name is flagged on their databases or something.
I passed my driving test in England - on my 6th attempt! I didn't get my license until I was 35.
Now I have been happily driving in Canada for over 3 years. Have to admit that the first few weeks I needed to remind myself of which side of the street I was supposed to be on. However, an automatic is much easier to drive than the stick shift I learned on in England. And the roads are bigger here too.
awsum..well after waiting until 2015 to see my man..i'd prefer not to get either of us in an accident...lucky for me i already drive an automatic...health reasons....so thats one less stress...hehe... I passed 2nd time after the first dumb ass driving instructor woman made me cross a roundabout and then it was her that panicked and swerved in the car in the middle of my test..grabbing the steering wheel off he...ha ha... i reported her for failing me and got my 2nd test the next day and passed..
As for drivin anywhere else in Europe....never been anywhere else in Europe...ha ha..except to France when I was like 7..not sure they would have let me behind the wheel of a car at that age..;)
Still need to know where the best doughnut and waffle places are over there..Im gonna make a "to do visit" lst for each and every one...lol....oh well can kiss my diet out the window...and i have just lost 2 stone too...hehe..

Super easy to get used to I promise! You at least have to try it for the fun of it.
lol.." for the fun of it"....ha ha..i can just see me all over the CNN news being chased down the highway by a bunch of cops...
