Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jeremy, and I'm a 21 year old male from Wisconsin. Currently, I've been in the Marines for 2 and half years and am stationed in Georgia. I came across this sight over facebook and thought it might be something neat to do when I'm not working. Being in the military, I know what it's like to be away from family and friends, so I figured these people may need some people to talk to and help them through it as well. If anyone needs anything, feel free to ask, and I'm always free to talk to, so don't be shy. And if anyone has any advice for me, feel free to let me know also. Thanks everyone.

My advice would be.....don't give everyone free license to give you advice. At the very least take a good hard look at anyone you're ACCEPTING advice from. There are some good people here, but negative Nellies too so take it all with a grain of salt.

My Dad was a Marine. You know what he told me? "The Army..the Navy...the Air Force....They're all the Marine's rejects." I'm sure some others would beg to differ, but my Dad probably told me that when I was like 7 and I never forgot it for some reason.

Hey Jeremy! Much respect to all the Marines! I'm an Army Reservist and I never even considered joining the marines because it seemed way too tough lol. I have a female cousin who joined last year and is now stationed in Japan. Have you been deployed by the way?

hey everyone! sorry I didn't get on here earlier, I've been working a lot. Anyways, thanks for all the greetings! It seems like a lot of people here are some good people, but I'll keep my guard up for the bad ones, haha. And to answer an earlier question, I haven't been deployed yet, that will come this coming year. :)
