Hello Everyone, My name is Sarah and I just stumbled across this forum while I was searching on the web... While I'm not looking for a pen pal, because I already have the best one of all... My Fiance, the love of my life, Kevin. We have been together for 13 years off and on, but never strayed from our friendship and now we are together again, this time for good.

He is currently in ASPC - Yuma serving a life sentence that has been modified to 25 years, he will get to come home to me in 2023. I'm just looking to meet some new friends that understand how hard it is to have a loved one on the inside.

All of my friends on the "outs" don't quite understand. So, I'm looking for some that do :)

Welcome Sarah! You are not the only one whose friends on the outside have no idea - they either don't want to understand or they think it would make them feel 'weird' to write to an inmate or they simply wonder why anyone would care about an inmate at all. Fortunately, no one on the forum thinks like that or we wouldn't be writing prisoners! You have a long wait ahead of you and you have every reason to be proud of yourself for standing by Kevin through all this time. I know from my dearest PP (whose name is also Kevin :-) ) how much they value having a special friend who will not give up on them!
