Hello I'm Sarah
I need help from anyone who as a pp at Kentucky State penitentiary water St eddyville.
I need a message sending to my pp he's Called Jordan Green to let him know that the prison as returned the mail I have been sending to him the last 7 months.
If you have jpay and are in contact with your pp can you ask them to spread the word round so he knows. I have left him loads of emails on jpay too which he hasn't replied back to..
It's Christmas and I'm hoping someone can get him this message.

I don't want him to think I've lost interest in him cause I love him so much.

Thanks for reading it's much appreciated.
Sarah xx

Hi Sarah,

sorry, I'm really not wanting to sound like a "bad sport" here, but why should someone from the prison send all the correspondence of 7 months back to you? If so, I'd assume that your pp made them send it back.

I honestly don't see any reason whatsoever why some prison staff should take an inmate's correspondence with a person, bundle it and return it to the sender. Not without knowledge of the inmate.

Hm... could it be that the interest isn't mutual (any more?)

I'm sure you're a well-meaning nice lady & I don't want to burst bubbles and/or hurt your feelings, but... to me it looks like this was no unintentional action.

Gentle hug (and a hanky, if you need one)

Kirsten

Yes, I'm sorry to break it to you but the most likely reason is the one thar Kirsten has given.

I find it unlikely that the mail room would go to the time and effort to bundled up 7 months worth of mail up and return it to you.

Also. the lack of response on JPay is enough to tell you that he just isn't responding.

I really wish there was a more gentle way of this to be broken to you. It's easier for that person to 'ghost' you but harder on the other other person because they receive no closure.

I have spoken to his mom.. And I have received a Christmas card from him he's asked me why I'm not writing to him this is the problem I have when the prison doesn't write a letter when sending me my mail back.

His mom as phoned the prison on my behalf and they haven't said much.. I find this very frustrating.
I'll keep my options open and I hope someone gets the message across.

Out of curiousity - What was the reason as to why he didn't recieve any of your JPay emails?

He got moved from prison to another, and the corrections don't have many resources to meet every prisoner.
His mom says he's applying for a move so I should be getting a letter or email soon.

Glad it turned out that way for you, Sarah. But still astonishing. Two of my pps got transferred as well while we were writing, but they could take our correspondence with them. And in one case - when a letter of mine got delivered to the old addy - as I had no knowledge of the transfer - the prison even passed it on to the inmate I'm corresponding with. But that was IL, not Kentucky, so  different states are obviously handling this issue differently.

I’m happy to be wrong in this instance!

There’s nothing worse than a sudden cease in contact and you have no idea why and in prison there are a myriad of possible reasons!

If his mom is on his caller or visitor list then she could tell him that the mail got sent back...but I have to say..it does seem like you're being ghosted..
