When you look at the entries of inmates at the Kentucky Offender Online Lookup some of the inmates have more than one offense. For instance an inmate has three offenses, first offense 3 years, second offense 10 years, third offense 5 years. What I would like to know: Is this inmate incarcerated for 18 years or just for ten years? So what does count here, the length of every single sentence or just the length of the longest sentence?

I see, so one can't tell that generally and one can't see in K.O.O.L. whether they have to serve their sentences the one or the other way. Well, thank you!
i think it all depends on if the judge sentenced them to serve each charge consecutively or concurrently.
