I know this is always a topic here but can someone please dumb down the rules for me? I’m a foreigner and this beurocracy English is just to difficult for me. I know that I can send care packages from this website. I know that my envelope needs to be plain white with return address etc. but could I also send a small package of my own with lets say a book or whatever in it? Or treats or anything? Can I send anything except of a letter without an authorized seller?

You can send funds to their account via jpay..or you could order books from barnes & noble or Amazon..they must be new..or the prison will refuse it..
If you don t have a US bank & address you can t order a secure pak..( prison care package)
So that's it basically...
Books also need to be softcover.

Hi. I want to send a picture of myself to an inmate. I have pictures on my cellphone. Can I just have a copy made of it at Walgreens and send it in my card or letter to the inmate? Thanks
As long as the facility accepts photographs you can include it in your snailmail. No underwear or cleavage showing. Nothing provocative or gang signs/tattoos should be shown either.
On amazon you can add your inmate to you address book order book and select inmate as the recipient.
You may need to send a copy of a receipt for your pen pal. Amazon have stopped adding a receipt to deliveries of one book which can cause issue at the facility. However tick box for gift certificate and add a short message seems to work.
