My pen pal in TX talked about how the lack of information regarding changes of prison rules and regulations are mind numbing and I would like to help him if I can in finding out if there has been any changes he might have missed in the last couple of years.

Where can I find out more about this? I would appreciate some help since I don't have a clue where to look and being an outsider doesn't help (being Swedish I mean). He's in Tennessee Colony.
Thank you.

Thank you. And you're right, I think it's the laws he's after too. I'll check this out. :detective:

All inmates have access to the TDCJ inmate orientation book. That is also available online on the TDCJ website.

But it sounds like he might be referring to the changes in laws brought in my the Texas legislature. They will be sitting again this year (they sit every 2 years) and one of the best places to keep up to speed with details relating to TDCJ is the Grits for Breakfast blog. Changes are rarely retroactive, but one was the introduction of the inmate phone system and another from last time was the introduction of the eComm system.
