My pp is there and I must know the news about the facilities, because I'm preocupate that something may happened to him, because I haven't heard from him for a long time and it's very unusual.

Hey Missiva. I just googled around for you. If he is in TCCF, there was a lockdown in november. I also read there was i tiny riot because someone stabbed another. That can be a reason for a new lockdown.
I also read there is something wrong overthere with the phones at the moment. Lots of inmates can't call.
He is in SMCI and we never talked by phone, we knew for short time and I live in a country very far, but I don't want to talk much about me and him, because I trust you, but not everyone. Sorry, I hope tou understand, and I'm new here.
That's a real good thing. Never use a name you write too of other personal information. This is an public forum. Here are many trustfull members, but also people with wrong intentions can read it.
I searched again, im sorry i cant find anything else then about TCCF. I hope someone else can give you a better answer. Hope you hear from your pp soon!
Don't you know anything about his facility? I always google but never found anything.

Sorry I didn't read your post before I sent it.
Im not sure what kind of information your looking for. But i have a link:
Visitation
and some info about the facility:
SMCI houses male offenders who are classified to primarily A and B custody levels (minimum and medium security). SMCI also offers housing for approximately 140 offenders classified to C and D Custody level (maximum security). There are no female offenders housed at SMCI. SMCI is the only state institution with a para-military “Boot Camp Program”. The Regimented Inmate Discipline
The RID Program consists of four phases lasting approximately five weeks each. There are eight treatment program components offered; five are mandatory and three optional. The mandatory components are: Discipline Therapy, Psychological Counseling, Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Pre Release Counseling, and Aftercare Strategies. Adult Basic Education, Discipleship Study, and Community Service Work Projects are optional treatment components offered.
SMCI is divided into three areas:
SMCI I - Johnnie Denmark - Lockdown (Buildings 7 & 8), Bldg. 9, 10, 11, 12, Vo Tech, Law Library, Gymnasium, MPIC, Academic School
SMCI II - James Brewer -Buildings A, B, C, D, E, Lockdown, Law Library, A & D Program, South Mississippi Medical Services
SMCI III - Joe Errington - Deputy Warden - Central Security, R1, Regimented Inmate Discipline, Emergency Response Team, K-9 Unit
Thanks, I know this site, but I think what I would like to know, if there was a lockdown or anything that keept him from writing, is not availeble in net.

There can be many other reasons. I had that before to, then i was so worried about my (then) bf, now hubby. But maybe he is out of stamps? Maybe they moved him to another facility? Maybe he didnt recieved your mail? Or his mail to you is lost? Maybe he is in the hospital?
There can be so many reasons. I know how it feels, i was so worried sometimes, just not knowing what is going on. Did you write a card already or a letter and explain your worries?
No, I would like to,but if he does't want to write me anymore?
Anyone currently writing to an inmate in TCCF in Mississippi? I am, and have been for some time and wanted to know if anyone else on here is.
Thanks, hope everyone is doing well!
Hi there...you may know the answer by now, but my pp is in MS facility and they are currently in "LOCK DOWN" due to an incident that happened 2-3 weeks ago. All I know it is in the A/B facility part. I am unsure if it just the A block or entire place? It should lift soon. LOCK DOWN means they cannot recieve packages or sometimes even mail. I have contact with mine via phone and he said they have held the mail for 2-3 days now. UGH! Terrible they all have to pay for one person's mistake in there.
Maybe just call his Unit and ask them at least you're not a realitive but they can tell you if he is ok.
