Hi, my pp got sent to the hole for a fight. i was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before and how long until you heard from them again? he got his friend to call me and said that he could be in there for a couple months... but to me that sounds silly. for a fight? if anyone has a time frame that would be very appreciated.

There are too many variables re: the timeframe. Just switch to snail mail, and send in crossword puzzles, sudoku, or whatever (and keep 'em coming!)
I think also it matters if he's been in trouble before...there are several factors that are involved in their decision..
From my experience it will be 6 months My sons been there....He is fortunately out in general population now but he spent a year and a half in the hole. It's so hard on them and on family members..I hope this helps a little
