:thx:I think I feel ready to embark on writing my 2nd WAP PP. I am in the "research stage" (anyone else do that?)
I have been googling for a while now (this evening about 30 mins) on mail rules for Norfolk MA mail rules. Nothing obvious pops up, only the fact that they open and read all mail and how to address the envelope etc
As ever when I get stuck I know i can turn to all you lovely people here for guidance, advice and expertise. Anyone ever write to Norfolk MA and are aware of any mail rules that are important. Maybe I am being daft? I know different states have different rules and there were quite a few for my last pp based in Oregon.

Thanks as ever for being the font of all knowledge :thx:

Thank you - now you guys say it, it's pretty obvious. I don't know why my brain couldn't fathom that one out. I think I worry and over think things. I think I'm almost ready to write and as will follow your advice. Thank you again :4_17_10:

I used to ask about mail rules to everyone I wrote in an introductory letter. What I found out was its all essentially the same. The only variation comes when you start talking about sending packages and what not. I do have one PP that you are allowed to put avery labels on the outside of the envelope if you choose. I'd say adhere to the same general guidelines that you did on the previous. When in doubt, call the prison and ask to be connected to the mailroom. I've done that before too.

I don't know specifically for there but I always keep it basic until I have asked the person I am writing to directly because I have found it to change even from what's written in the rules sometimes.

Always best to be safe!
