Please help me by tomorrow afternoon

hey everyone! I just got my first letter, and I was so excited I wrote 5 pages to send back. My pp is in Texas, and my question is:
-Can I send him my letter via Xpresspost? ummm I'm not sure if it's called "Xpresspost" in the States or not, but it is in Canada. Basically, it's a service where you buy a special envelope from the post office and your letter arrives in as little as 2 business days (no one has to actually sign for the letter, so that's not my issue)....I know this kind of envelope is a big larger than a regular envelope and it's made out of cardboard, so I wasn't sure if it's allowed in Texas or not...It doesn't say anything about it on the website.

If someone that knows (or thinks they know) the answer to this could right back right away, I would be soooo greatful!

Thank you!

You can actually EMAIL the offenders in Texas, they just can not email you back. You can do so by using the jpay.com website. It cost 44cent per page, much cheaper than an express package.

I am not sure if it made sense, because only the shipping is x-press and I think, the letter will need as long as other ones in the office there. In Europe we can send letters "Priority" and that is the same.

I can't say for sure if it's allowed, but i do want to remind you that the letter can get there and still not be given to your pal right away, it could take a few days, no matter how it was mailed - so i'm not sure it'd be worth the extra cost, assuming there is one.

If they don't get back to you right away and you would like for me to call the facility or anything for you just private message me or something..since for me anywhere in the US is free

hey, yeah i know it will definately be held and read before he receives it. I just feel more comfortable sending it that way...It doesn't cost too much...What if I put the letter in a regular envelope and addressed it, and then put that envelope into the "Xpresspost" envelope??? I mean, that way they will have to open it anyway, and they can just throw out the Xpresspost envelope??? i dunno...just thinking of ideas.

okay thank you. I just e-mailed the Texas state of corrections, so hopefully I will find out if it's okay, and hopefully they e-mail back quicker than they did last time I need to ask them something...Calling that far from Canada, would be quite a large phone bill. lol.

Oh, and yes, I don't care if my letter is held as long as all the other letter there, I just wanna get it to Texas quicker. lol.
