Sorry...I posted this already but I thought it would fit better in this forum.....Hey... :wave2: I'm new to W.A.P and have sent a few letters back and forth with my pp already..I was just wondering if anybody knew what the rules are as far as writing letters in Spanish...we mix in a little Spanglish every once and awhile but its mostly all English...is writing in Spanish allowed, or will my letter get sent back to me if I use too much of it?
Thanks for all your help! :beg:

It depends on the prison. If it is Texas or California where there is a huge Spanish speaking population I doubt it would be given a second look. If he has been involved in gangs inside they think he is trying to hide something. I say go for it.
I have never had a problem with it! I write "spanglish" and even a few full pages of all spanish to my man who is in Federal prison. Never had a problem so far!
To one of my pen pals (Texas) I ONLY write in spanish, and his letters are written in spanish, too, our mail doesn't include any english words and I haven't had a problem with the mailroom until now, but I guess it depends on the state and the institution itself.
Thank you guys for all your help! He is in Kentucky...so Im not sure =S but i guess I might as well try...the worst they could do is send it back and id just have to translate it lol
As it has been mentioned here Spanish can be different depending on the region.
For example, the Catalonian variant is totally different from classical Spanish. So first you need to determine where in Spain you will promote it. I am from the UK https://postcodefinder.net/england/ and have contact with a very professional translation agency if you need it. Contact me directly.
