Email & Change of Address..

Hey guys,
So I wrote an email through WAP on the the 16th Feb & just jumped back on today and noticed the inmate I chose to write to has had a change in address/location. Just wondering what will happen to the email/letter that WAP printed & sent out, if the inmate isn't at that address/location anymore. Will it be sent back to my address? Or will WAP let me know that it had been received or returned?? TIA (:

The corrections facility may forward it onto where the inmate is now. This happened to me the inmate was moved to another unit but received the mail, it just took a bit longer to get to them. Or you could write directly through snail mail but the message will have been sent on the 23rd Feb, so give it some time to see if you get a response.

I had this with the guy who first replied back to me. He got transferred a day or two before WAP sent the initial email out - and even WAP didn't have the new addy back then.

It was sent on, but it took about a month til it got to him and another 3 weeks until I got his reply. (being in Germany added on to the turnaround time)

Thanks for your guys responses, I really do appreciate it! I'm in Australia so wasn't sure if I should sent out a snail mail. I might even find another pen pal aswell while I patiently wait to see if I do get a response.
