First of all thanks to everyone who does this. I think it’s a great idea to help people get through their time and hope it makes them feel better and less likely to reoffend.
Anyway, I was wondering how long it takes for the site to print and mail the letters? I’m just curious as I want to keep up and make sure I’m replying in an orderly fashion myself and I also would like to know how long I should wait before I decide they aren’t gonna write back so that I can write to someone else should they not be interested.
Also, on one of my letters I forgot to put my return address. Do they include this? If I don’t hear back from this person should I write them another one with the address just in case they didn’t get it?
Thanks

I'm not sure if they include your return address when they print and snail mail your message. I would assume no and always include a mailing address so they can reply. The print and mail option on the site is easy but just printing your note and sticking it in an envelope and mailing it is a more sure way in my mind since you don't have to wonder when/if they printed it and mailed it. Usually a return address must be on the envelope and on the letter from most of the facility's mail rules I've seen.
