Hi, I'm new here, so I have a couple of questions. Hope someone can help me.
Well I wrote an email yesterday to a guy, but I forget to put my address in the email, you know when you're writing your email it shows you how is going to look when you send it. So I thought that my address was included.
So that's my first question, Is my address included automatically or what can I do to fix it?
And my second question, well is two more questions
What's JPay? I'm not from the USA I'm from Mexico so I really don't know what's that, and I'm curious I know that is like an email website or something, but I don't know, how can I have a JPay account?, if is an email website.
And that's it, thanks for reading, and I apologise for my bad English.

Hey I'm new too and since you're writing about email I'll join my question to yours:

Do we need to add the inmate information in the mail or not? (his\her full name, plus his\her address)

@ Didi Fernandez

Since you are from outside the United States the country which you live in, Mexico, is NOT added automatically to the initial contact e-mail. Furthermore, I don't know how addresses in Mexico are written down, but there are several countries around the world in which the components of an address are written down in a different order than in the United States while WAP's e-mail system writes addresses in the United States' manner.

In short: for you it is best to include your (whole) adress in the initial contact e-mail.

As your e-mail has not been sent to your inmate yet - they are being forwarded on the 23rd of January - I would advise you to contact WAP staff concerning this matter to ask them if they can add your full address including your country to your e-mail.

JPay is an American company through which you can, amongst others, send e-mails & VideoGrams as well as make video visitation to prisoners. It also provides other services to inmates such as money transfer as well as a variety of parole, probation, and post-release services.

Here is a link to JPay's website where you can create an account for yourself: https://www.jpay.com

Yes, it is best to add the inmate's full name, address and inmate ID/registration number to the e-mail. The inmate's ID/registration number must be written next to his or her name.

Thanks for the answer. I'm actually not outside the USA, I'm from El Paso TX, but I live in Juárez city, the border of El Paso, but I used my cousin address which is in El Paso. So if I used a USA address, maybe the added automatically, but just to make sure I'm going to follow your advice and I'm going to contact the WAP staff and ask them if the can help me with that.
Thanks, have a nice day.

My address was added automatically (I'm in the UK) I know it was because I sent a WAP email on December 31st and received my first letter from the inmate yesterday.

In my first email, my address appeared at the top automatically. I'm writing to Texas so I anticipate a long delay as they use snail mail apparently. I'm in the UK so can anybody give me an approximate wait time for any reply please?

Emails are forwared twice a month, on the 7th and the 23rd. Then it takes about a week to reach the inmate, and you have to count about 10 days for snail mail to the UK, if the inmate is able to reply immediately that is...  First letters can be a long wait, but once you've established correspondence it tends to get faster.
