I sent some introductory emails to some prisoners. When I got a response from someone who I added on JPay, she said she didn't get the introductory email. Is it normal for the prisoners to get to see their JPay adders before the emails get printed?

Yes, because the emails are only printed and sent out twice a month. Replies on JPay are normally pretty quick.

Hi! Writeaprisoner receives your email and then prints and forwards it by regular mail. You could just as well write an old fashioned snail letter yourself : ) But yes, the inmate's address is added automatically so your email will be addressed to the right person

Yes that's right; on the 7th and the 23rd, a little later if these dates are weekends or holidays. So if you write your email before the 7th, it will go with the next batch. Once the printout is on it's way your inmate should receive it within a week up to 10 days
What's Jpay?
I think it's a website where you can send letter, money and other quickly , but I'm not sure I never tried it , I'm waiting for an answer that I sent 2 weeks ago
