Hello- i am new to this and I sent my pp a letter and then afterward it hit me, "what if his profile isnt up-to-date and what if he's at a new facility"? So i looked him up on the BOP site and sure enough, he is at a different faclity but in the same state. Will he get my letter? BOP said that it will transfer mail up to 30 days after a prisoner transfer. I went ahead and sent a new letter to his current address and I tried to put the same info in it as my first one letter.........I just dont want him getting two of the same letters...he might think that's odd lol.

He will receive either one of them, or both lol! Don't worry about it, it's better to get two letters than none at all. Inmates often worry about mail following them when being moved, I think your effort to find his new address will be much appreciated.
If he doesn't receive your letter, because somehow prison employess can't find him, they will return your letter to you. Then you can send it again to another address. Don't worry...
