Hey, I reached out to an inmate and I have received a reply of him and another inmate I didn't speak to? The other inmate just said he saw that I was on write a prisoner. Is this possible? I don't mind I just don't want the two of them getting mad if I reply to both lol.

To clarify what I mean by "got your info from the first prisoner" and "shared" or "deliberately shared" is, there could be two situations in which someone who writes to a prisoner gets a letter back from a different prisoner:  either the first prisoner (intended, chosen pen pal) passed on your contact info and letter to another prisoner, purposely;  or, the second prisoner found your letter or had access to it long enough to copy your address and then write to you, without the first prisoner having deliberately shared anything.  Either of those things can and does happen.  I just wanted to be clear it's not necessarily a case of your address having been traded or sold, which also has been known to happen.

How could the second prisoner have seen that you are a member of WriteAPrisoner?  What he meant, no doubt, is that he got your name and contact info from the first prisoner, the one you wrote to.  If your info was shared, then they already know they're both writing to you;  but if it wasn't shared deliberately, then the first prisoner doesn't know about the second one.  You might ask...if you're curious.
