Here is a list of programs, provided by the Federal Government, of agencies which have domestic programs and are listed as a prisoner reintegration resource.

Check it out! https://www.cfda.gov/?s=agency&mode=list&tab=list

I answered part of my own question. These grants are available to non-profit organizations. I researched it even further and found out that the grants are available to offenders that are going back to high crime and high poverty communities....inner city type stuff. Not our situation.

I have a question....maybe I read it wrong but is the help withheld if the crime committed was violent?? This is a huge concern of ours right now...are there certain jobs he can't hold due to his offense.....like plumbing for example. Can he even get a license for it cause plumbers have to go inside people's houses? Or with truck-driving...I heard through the prison grapevine that ex-felons can't get Haz-Mat certified.

Don't understand this post. It's a LIST of government agencies. Seriously doubtful ALL of them are a prisoner reintegration resource.
