Emailing Inmates 0.25$ OffenderConnect.com

SCDC | South Carolina Department of Corrections

According to the official SC doc website there is emailing possible now in some Prisons Like Leath, Graham... But the OffenderConnect.com website does not allow sending Emails for some strange reason and they don't answer questions.

Has anyone tried it and had it working for him?

Hi!
I've used it this week to email back and forth to Lee CI. Were you ever able to get it to work for you? Do you know if our friends inside have access to check and reply to emails over the weekend?

Hey!
Do you know who to contact regarding Offender Connect's email service when kiosks aren't operational? In my friend's unit at Lee CI, two of the three kiosks have been showing a server error message since this past Friday and aren't operational. I've tried calling Offender Connect, but they say that they don't handle that. (What?...the email account I signed up for is through Offender Connect's website...?) They gave me a number for another company VCI (or something similar) and I called it, but you can't get through without a phone account number through their company, which I don't have. I just have the email enabled. Any ideas? Would calling the prison do anything? Thank you!

Yeah I got it to work, it was a problem THEY had, nobody could use it for a few day at the beginning.

The inmates can access the machine as much as they want if they're not on lockdown, the machine is located near the phones in the common area, they get a password and can stand and check mail as much as they want for 15 minutes.

It works on weekends too, just slower, it takes 1.5 hours to send/get a mail after it's sent.

Just let it go, they have no customer service... it's like they don't give a crap if they have customers or not.
Talking to them is like talking to a wall.
Just check that company on Google, nothing but complaints about very bad things they're doing.
