I am new and sent a letter via jpay to a penpal a couple of days ago.  I have not had a reply, but it may still be too early, and I am being impatient. Lol.  The thing is it shows on my account that I haven't got anything in my sent folder, however when I open my sent folder it shows my letter and also states that it has been sent to the correction facility.  I'm sure I read that it only shows in this folder once the correction facility have actually recieved it, so guessing they have received it but not sure why it's not showing up on my account as sent.  Do you think this could be because the penpal has not yet seen it?  I sent a reply stamp, so hoping my penpal can reply back to me through jpay email.

I get what you mean now! You will never see a number of send emails because this is not not a website like gmail and etc To check if you actually send something you have to check inside the folder the status of your email

Thanks Velvetmorning14.  No I only use the computer not the app.  I have now received a reply from my pp so I know he must have got it.  Still it doesn't show on main sent any number of how many emails I've sent.  When I open the folder though, yep they are all there.  I think you are right some glitch or something.  It shows how many stamps I have left on the main page etc but just no number next to sent.  Oh well, at least I know my penpals are receiving their mail so all good.  Thank you for your assistance. :)

Maybe it sound like a glitch between the systems because you mention that when you open the folder you saw that the email has send? Are you using both the app and the computer? Maybe it's the app that needs to be update! It has happened to me before just because the app was not working good

Welcome ehoa! And soon, you’ll come to view a couple of days as nothing unusual, or heck, a month as nothing unusual. There are so many factors that affect turnaround time, most of them unpredictable, and rarely under your control. Just accept that it may take a little while, longer than you want it to, but cheering you on here anyway that your patience is rewarded. Best wishes :-)
