Cool. I'm doing a pair of sock for my mother-in-law, and then a white hare toy and a cardigan for a friend's baby due in December, then a sewater with a scull & cross bones on the front for my grandson for yule. I've also got another crochet blanket on the go and a couple of sewing projects. I rarely just have one thing in progress!

Yes you do find out how much stuff you've got when you have to pack. What I can't stand is the bits & bobs...never know whether to throw them out or keep them.
Seattle's going to be quite a bit colder than Miami? I was in Miami a few years back & the weather is just glorious.
Does shipping cost a lot of money?

MINX are foils, they look AMAZING. We had a press event not too long ago but I couldn't make it but I've got some samples. Katy Perry is a big fan, and you can get some awesome designs. I have the leopard print ones but it looks quite hard to do yourself as you gotta cut them exactly otherwise they will crumple and look weird. Salons here offer the service, but it's quite new x

Well my weekend will consists of washing clothes for my trip to Illinois & the dreaded housework. Although I may get side tracked and forget the housework. Maybe a bit of pampering will do the trick...Got to look one's best for walking through those prisons doors.......

Lots going on at "The Home" (apartments where I live for 55+), this weekend. Bingo on Saturday night (I am the caller), Dominos on Sunday (I am the scorekeeper), and a Pizza party on Monday. I put up a sign-up list, for that, as to how many pieces they want and what kind. What a pain. It wasn't my idea, but I got stuck with the organizing. Next time anyone gets any brilliant ideas, they are going to be in charge.
I almost forgot. Granddaughter has two soccer games (actually 4, but I can only go to 2). She is only 9, but she loves that soccer. Both are at 9:00 a.m. on Sat and Sunday. So it will be a busy weekend.
