Hey, my name is Jonathan.  I’m 23 years old and originally from Los Angeles, California.  My intentions in joining this website are mainly to meet new friends and get to know you.  I’m not exactly chasing love…but if love finds me…I won’t push it away.

A little bit about myself; first off, don’t worry, I’m not a weirdo, ha-ha.  I was 15 years old when I got locked up.  I won’t make any excuses; I was blinded by the lifestyle I was in and I made bad decisions.  But I’ve matured since then and I live with a purpose now.  I’m all about being productive and I’m down with anything that brings change and positivity into my life.  Obviously, I’m still young, so my personality is a little hyped up, but it’s because I choose to be in a good mood all the time. I don’t let depression or stress take a hold of my life, so I replace it with humor and make the best of the hand I dealt myself.

I also like to stay busy with programs, reading, working out, and playing sports, or writing poems.  I’d be lying if I said that being locked up doesn’t take a toll sometimes, because it does… and although you may be on the streets, I know that you need somebody to talk to at times too.  I mean we all have family and friends “around” us but sometimes we just need that one person to be there “for” us, to talk to, or even to just vent to.  I’d really like to be that person for you, and I hope you can be that person for me.
